Lakefront Intimate Wedding Ceremony Package

Johnsons Cove – Lakeside Retreat - Seneca, SC 

Celebrate your “I do” in a private, peaceful lakefront setting designed for intimate, meaningful ceremonies. Our property is offered exclusively for small, elegant wedding ceremonies for couples who want the beauty of Lake Keowee without the complexity of a traditional wedding venue.

Package Overview

Investment: $3,000
Guest count: Up to 25 guests total (Outdoor and lower level of home during duration of ceremony) 
Event duration: Up to 4 hours of property access

This package is intentionally designed for couples seeking a simple, beautiful ceremony in a private lakefront environment.

What’s Included:

Private Waterfront Ceremony Location

Enjoy exclusive access to the lakefront lawn and shoreline for your ceremony, surrounded by water views, mature trees, and a serene natural backdrop perfect for photography.

Getting Ready Time

Time is included for the couple to arrive early, get dressed, and prepare onsite before guests arrive.

Photography Access

Full use of the outdoor spaces for wedding portraits and family photos, including:

  • Lakefront lawn

  • Dock and shoreline

  • Outdoor living areas

Getting ready photos are allowed with the photographer on the Lower Level of the home. The upper level of the home is for overnight guests only.

Vendor Access Window: 1 Hour Prior to Wedding Guest Arrival 

Vendors such as photographers, florists, and officiants may arrive during the access window for setup and breakdown.

The person who submits the deposit must be on site during the entire vendor access window. 

Parking Coordination

Limited on-site parking with guidelines provided to ensure a smooth arrival and departure for guests. No more than 6 cars on the property. 

Overnight Stay

The lake house is available to rent through Airbnb and sleeps up to 11 guests, making it the perfect option for couples who would like to turn their ceremony into a relaxing wedding weekend or stay overnight before or after the event.

(Overnight lodging is booked separately via AirBNB and subject to availability.)

(Currently, Intimate Wedding Ceremonies are only open to AirBNB guests who have booked at least 1 night via AirBNB.)

Light celebratory moments such as champagne toasts and cake cutting are welcome immediately following the ceremony.

    • No DJs, bands, or large sound systems

  • We can accommodate up to 6 vehicles onsite, so carpooling is encouraged.

  • Yes, with the appropriate booking! The lake house is available to rent separately through Airbnb and sleeps up to 11 guests.
